- Display your photo or artwork in the halls of the offices where you work every day. Yep, your own home office counts too.
- Artwork printing and mounting is paid for by the company. After the initial exhibition period, you own the artwork to hang in your office or home anywhere you wish.
- The program is designed to run annually so we're always creating and hanging fresh artworks.
Our goal is actually to draw out anyone and everyone to participate. If you took a cell phone photo on vacation that you think would look good printed; let's see it. This isn't a professional gallery show. The goal is to decorate workspaces with artworks that have some personal meaning. We're celebrating the lives and creativity of yourself and everyone you work with, and getting to know unique facets of one another in the process.
If you have existing photos or artwork ready to submit, you can do that in about an hour. Creating new artworks is welcome and encouraged of course.
We have an optional community where you can participate as much or as little as you like. In this community we help amateurs and those just doing it for fun to critique their submissions, give them creative ideas, provide technical help, and have some demonstrations from professional artists. You will get out what you put into it; mostly by helping others when you have skills or experience to offer.
Flat artworks - anything we can hang on a wall.
- Painting
- Photographs
- Printmaking
- Drawing
- Graphic renderings
- Textiles that can be mounted
You must own the artworks that you submit. We can't print something that you didn't create yourself.
Artworks will decorate hallways, sales floors, dining & cafe spaces, conference rooms, gyms, or other common areas. We leave them hanging for up to a year. Personal cues are needed just as much in a corporate space or in a home office.
Employees own their artworks. Move them into a personal office or take them to display in your own home. The program is intended to repeat yearly so you have fresh artworks in the offices once a year.
All artistic evaluation, artwork editing, preparation and mounting is handled by us. There will be opportunities for artists within your company to lead program activities if they wish to, but it's never required.
We have an artist exhibition agreement that governs the exhibition and use of the artworks. This is very much like what you would sign when displaying artworks in any public or private venue. The agreement governs your rights as the artist, protections afforded your artwork, and the rights and limitations of the exhibiting venue.
We use an online community platform called Mighty Networks to communicate with everyone and to host all program activities. It's completely private and not linked to any social networks. You can join using a work or personal email.
Artwork submission and company galleries of submissions are hosted on SmugMug where I've been managing clients artwork and imaging projects since 2008.
My first choice is a custom photography and art printing and framing shop twenty minutes from my house in Northern Colorado. They only do photography and art prints. I can check on production at any time and we have a long relationship working together. If shipping costs are prohibitive I will find a comparable shop close to your location that meets my standards.
The prints are done professionally. Cheaply produced images have no “archival quality” meaning they fade quickly and the paper or media they’re printed on will look aged after only a year or two. You don't want anything like that that looks cheap. We prepare top quality prints to display in a professional environment, and that you will enjoy for many years after you take it home.
Original artworks like sketches, paintings, printmaking, textiles; are never shipped. I get the dimensions of the artwork canvas from you the creator. Those dimensions go to my frame shop to make a custom frame for the artwork. When I come to mount and hang artworks in person, I stretch and mount the artwork at that time.
Purple. It's so hard to get a satisfying purple in a photo, or when mixing paint. Making a truly attractive purple and using it in a meaningful way just makes me so happy.
